AIMS
To demonstrate practical techniques that develop serially progressive creative writing in K.S. 1 & 2 children.
To discuss strategies and address particular problems encountered in the classroom associated with creative writing.

I have delivered many workshops throughout the whole of the country at conferences and as INSET training under the general banner of 'Stories from Nothing and Nowhere.'
Participants experience what it is like to try and plot and plan a creative story in a short space of time using a variety of age-appropriate stimuli.
The emphasis is on achieveable, repeatable classroom techniques that build the teacher's and the childrens' confidence in writing stories.
I also lead twilight sessions which consist of a brief outline of; developing stories, character portrayal, scene setting and bringing a story to a sensible, non-cliched ending.
